From London to home in East Yorkshire
Angela Wells has had an interesting career in sales and account management from working in publishing to assisting Kasabian’s band manager. Now after almost 20 years living in London, aboard and also in Leeds she has returned to her home in East Yorkshire and continues her career as Account Manager for telecoms company, Quickline Communications.
Angela says: “In 2000 I was drawn to the bright lights of the big city - I planned to go just for the one year to see what the Big Smoke was all about, then ended up staying there for 16 years. I have always enjoyed looking after customers and ensuring they get the best from the businesses I have worked for. My roles have taken me around the world but once I started to hear more about everything going on in Hull, I made plans to return home.”
“I am delighted to take on this new role at Quickline. It is a very progressive business, specialising in wireless broadband and mobile solutions and I am able to use my skills in managing the customer experience.”
“As a place to live and work, Hull and East Yorkshire has changed so much. It still has the charm of the outdoors and community spirit that I have always loved so much but I really feel like everyone is seizing the new opportunities that are available through Hull City of Culture, for businesses of all types and sizes.”
Managing Director of Quickline, Steve Jagger says:
“Angela is a great asset to our business. She brings with her a positive energy and vast experience that is a benefit to the whole team. Angela is managing her own client base, sourcing the best mobile deals on the market.”
Quickline is known for connecting rural communities to superfast broadband around Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and continues to broaden its reach further into North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Cumbria.
